Carisle High School Varsity Baseball Program continued rolling over the weekend. The Indians went 3-0 Friday and Saturday in impressive fashion!
On Friday, Zach Brown pitched a complete game against the Madison Mohawks notching nine strikeouts. The Indians won the SWBL match 6-0. John Booth was the big hitter for the Indians going 3-3.
On Saturday, the Indians went to Twin Valley South and Alex Leach took over. Leach in the first game earned his 3rd save of the season and notched the "W" in the second. Leach went 3-4 in the first game with a Home Run. The second game he continued his impressive Saturday going 2-2 from the plate both Home Run shots earning 3 RBI's.
Carlisle took the first game 8-4 with Michael Pearson notching his 3rd win of the season. Pearson has not lost on the mound all season throwing for a 3-0 record. Branson also was stellar from the plate in the first game going 4-4 from the plate.
The second game Carlisle soared to a 15-3 victory. Going along with Leach's performance was Keough and Gibson who had 5 RBI's between them.
Carlisle is now 10-1 overall on the season! GO INDIANS!!
