After an impressive 3-0 start to their season the Carlisle High School Girls Varsity Softball team came out of the weekend 3-3 overall on the season.

Friday, the Lady Indians ran into a very strong Madison team who won the game 8-2.  Stefaney Turner earned her first loss of the year at pitcher.  Turner is now 3-1 on the season.

On Saturday, The Lady Indians traveled to Twin Valley South for a doubleheader.  The Indians faced a strong pitcher Emily Froment from Twin Valley South who had 19 strikeouts in the two games and the winning hit in the second game.  It was too much Froment for the Indians on Saturday!

In the first game the Lady Indians struggled from the plate and lost 13-0.

The second game the Indians stood their ground but Twin Valley South's lone run in the sixth was enough to win 1-0.  Twin Valley South moved to 6-3 on the season.
