Carlisle Varsity Wrestling takes 3rd Place at Troy Christian....

Carlisle High School Varsity Wrestling squad took 10 varsity wrestler's to Troy Christian last week. Out of 10 competitors, 6 went to the finals for 1st and 2nd place. Tyler Jewell 1st, Tyler Boschert 2nd, Ty Fisher 2nd, Dusty Laughlin 2nd, Christian McLaughlin 2nd, and Vince Boyer 2nd. Over all Carlisle took 3rd place in the meet.

Carlisle Girls Hoops Dominate Temple Christian

Last night, the Carlisle Indians Varsity Girls Basketball Program kept their great season going by romping Temple Christian 55-21.  The Lady Indians jumped out to a 18-6 lead in the first quarter and never looked back.  Alexis Murphy led the Indians with 10 points, Morgan Thomas had 9 points and Ally Campbell added 7.

The Lady Indians move to 6-2 on the season and will play Franklin on December 30th.

Carlisle Boys Hoops loses to Temple Christian...

The Carlisle Boys Basketball program suffered a tough loss to the small private school Temple Christian.  The Indians lost the game 53-63 last night.  Josh Koogle, who is up for Player of the Week with the Middletown Journal, scored 21 points to pace the Indians.  The Varsity Boys fall to 2-4 on the season.
