Carlisle Softball summary...

Last Saturday, the Carlisle Girls High School Varsity Softball team had a double header versus National Trail.  The Lady Indians split the games winning the first and losing the second.

Carlisle took game one by holding National Trail in the Top of the seventh and winning 6-5.  Stefaney Turner picked up the win from the mound for the Indians moving her record to 5-3 on the season.  In the second game, National Trail exploded for six runs in the 6th inning to take the game 8-5.  Turner also pitched the second game.

Last night, the Lady Indians faced SWBL Buckeye rival Monroe Hornets.  The Indians used balance scoring and excellent pitching and won 11-1.  Stefaney Turner picked up the win for the Indians!

The Indians move to 8-5 overall and 5-2 in the SWBL Buckeye Division for the season!  They will look to get revenge against the Madison Mohawks on Wednesday night at Madison!
