Coach vs. Player in College Alumni Game

Kyle England and Carlisle Varsity Coach Brad Sizemore

Brad Sizemore and Kyle England hooked up together again except this time Coach Sizemore wasn't coaching England up.  Kyle a current 1st basemen for Eastern Kentucky (former Indian stand out pitcher) and Sizemore a former player of EKU and Current Carlisle Varsity Baseball Coach displayed their skills against each other on Sunday Oct. 18 in the EKU alumni baseball game held at the refurbished Turkey Hughes Field.

The game was won by the current Colonels team 10-4 over the alumni team. Kyle went 1 for 2 at the plate and a stolen base while playing a new posistion of 1st base during the game.  This was the first time Kyle has got a chance to play in a game since having succesful shoulder surgery last March. Kyle is still on a limited throwing program but should be at full strength and back on the mound pitching by the start of the 2010 EKU season.
