Carlisle Baseball takes down Blanchester...

The Carlisle High School Varsity Baseball team took out Blanchester last night in their first game in the Division 3 State tournament.  The Indians defeated Blanchester 11-6 last night.  Jake Gibson picked up the win for the Indians from the mound.  Gibby is 5-2 on the season.  Carlisle did much of their punishing in the first three innings scoring 10 runs.  The Indians lit up the field for 16 hits in the victory.  With the win Carlisle earned their 20th win of the season!!

#2 Carlisle will now face #3 Dixie in the Sectional Finals next Wednesday May 19 at 5:00pm in Franklin.
