The Carlisle High School Girls Softball team had their second crack at the undefeated league play Madison Mohawks last night. The game started off in a defensive war each team not willing to give the other anything from the plate. But in the 3rd inning, Hannah Kendrick of Madison broke the silence and hit a 3 run home run to give the Mohawks the lead. Kendrick also, the pitcher, struck out 12 Indian batters in the game.
The Indians did put a bit of pressure on the Mohawks by adding two runs but Kendrick's solo home run in the 5th was the dagger. The Mohawks won 5-2.
Carlisle will face West Carrollton next and move to 9-6 on the season and 6-3 in the SWBL.
