Carlisle High School Track and Field Results...

Last night at the Brookville Invitational the Carlisle High School Boys Track team scored 49 points and finished in 5th place.  The Carlisle High School Girls Track team scored 36 points and finished and 7th place in the Invitational.  The Invitational included Brookville, Preble Shawnee, Carlisle, Franklin, and others.

Placing for the boys were the following athletes:

• Nick Burton was 3rd in the 100 and 4th in the 200

• John Pope was 3rd in the 300 Hurdles and 6th in the Long Jump

• Josh Young was 4th in High Jump and 6th in the 400

• Clint Kohl was 6th in the 800

• Mike Burgett was 6th in the 1 and 2 mile

• Brad Topp was 5th in High Jump

• Kyle Bartlett was 2nd in Shot Putt and 4th in the Discus

• The boys 4x200 relay team of Will Printup, Josh Young, Brad Topp, and Nick Burton was 4th

Placing for the girls were the following athletes:

• Taylor Scheffter was 3rd in the 300 Hurdles, 1st in the High Jump and 1st in the 100 Hurdles breaking her own record on the way

• Jessica Allen was 5th in the 400 and 6th in the 100 and 200

• Molly Fuller was 8th in the 100 and 200

• Ambria Small was 6th in the 800

• Madison Lawson and Ashley Gierzak finished 7th and 8th in the mile and Ashley was 5th in the 2 mile
