Carlisle High School Varsity Baseball team hosted the Franks Classic this past Saturday. The host showed no mercy to the visiting teams. Carlisle played Oakwood Lumberjacks and defeated them 10-2. Alex Leach continued his impressive year going 3-4 with 5 RBI's. Leach picked up the win on the mound for the Indians. Nick McGill hit for a triple and drove in one run. Vince Boyer got into the action with 2 hits and an RBI. John Booth added two hits of his own.
In the second game, Carlisle did not get tired. Jake Gibson was unbelievable from the plate against Alter striking out six. The Indians defeated the Knights 11-1. Nick McGill did not go cold hitting a perfect 3-3 from the plate with a HR and 2 RBI's. Boyer was perfect, as well, hitting 3-3 and 2 RBI's.
Carlisle moved their record to 16-4 overall on the season. They will be on the road against SWBL foe Preble Shawnee on Monday night.
