SAY 7th and 8th Graders are State Bound....

The Carlisle 7th and 8th grade Gross Lumber Kicker girls SAY soccer team won the Championship in the Miami Valley South SAY Soccer tournament. Carlisle played the Championship game against Clinton Massie a team that they tied with for first place during the regular season. 

 

The game was tied 1 to 1 at the end of the regulation, sending the game into two over times and a shoot out with Carlisle winning the shoot out 3 to 2. Megan Alcorn was Gross Lumber's goalie for the shoot out. This was an intense game with two very good teams. 

 

The Gross Lumber team will play this Sunday at 3:00 in the State SAY Soccer Tournament in Milford, Ohio.

 

The team ended the regular season with a 9 and 1 record with 9 shutouts.
