The rainy nasty night on Laughlin Field and the absence of main tail back Nick McGill, the Homecoming game versus (2-4) Madison could have provided some worry. But enter Jordan Jacobs and a typical bruising Indian defense and Carlisle produces a 34-0 Homecoming win over the visiting Mohawks.
Jordan "Juke Ya" Jacobs offensively single handedly took down the Mohawks. He totaled 183 yards and scored four times. Two of the scores coming off of punt returns. One for 47 yards in the 1st quarter.
The Indians defense was HUGE tonight, holding the shutout against the Mohawks, getting strong play in the red zone, and Kelly LaForce, Jake Langdon and Emerick providing a safety.
Carlisle improves to 6-1, 2-1 in the Southwestern Buckeye League Buckeye Division, while the Mohawks fall to 2-5, 0-3 SWBL Buckeye Division.
