$220 for pee-wee cheerleading? That seems to be a bit expensive. When other activities hover around the $50.00 range, why does cheerleading have to be four times that amount? I am wondering what activities cheerleaders take part that can justify such a cost. My family is not involved with cheerleading. . .I'm just trying to make sense of a very expensive sport for such young girls.
$115.00 Varsity "brand" uniform/fitting/shipping
$55.00 windsuit jacket/windsuit pants/shipping
$30.00 fee to SWBL pee-wee Football
$20.00 fee to CSCA... total is $220...
No hidden fees or charges.
I'm retired and my kids have long since grown so I'm not sure what people are paying for their children to be involved in sports but if what that first writer says is true, $220.00 is outrageous!! It seems that varsity "brand" uniform/fitting/shipping needs to be reviewed to see if possible changes need to be made. As the first writer stated, $220.00 per girl x 15 girls per grade (just guessing on 15 per grade level)? I'm not sure there's a varsity sport that generates that kind of fee, let alone a pee wee sport!!
