2009 CBA opens up 52nd year of competition!!

The CBA opened up its 52nd year of play this morning with a parade and Opening Day Ceremony. CBA President, Brian Gosney led the order of events with the introduction of board and trustees for CBA. The teams paused for the playing of the national anthem and was led in prayer by Josh Williams, Youth Pastor of Riverview Baptist Church.

Mayor Tim Humphries read the proclamation for May 2, 2009 official start of the 2009 Baseball season followed by Red Dog throwing out the first pitch to make this 2009 season officially started.
